ACCC's storm in a tea cup!

Holey moley!! The ACCC has uncovered a plot by Apple to mislead Australian consumers.

I'll bet that the resellers are telling the tech head purchasers what they already know, that the 4G annotation applies to the US version not the Telstra.

Now the equally uniformed sensationalist media is hot on the trail. We see on TV footage, a supposed ACCC advocate apparently approaching court with a pronounced "look at me, look at me!" stride.

What a bloody storm in a teacup! Why doesn't the ACCC go and chase some really bad guys, instead of attention seeking, pulling down the tall poppy's strides?

What is the magic of Telstra's 4G anyway? You can get access, provided you have a 4G smartphone and provided you are within 5 km of the CBD. Big deal. What 4G?

Apple has more money in the bank than many countries and the way our federal government has been splashing out a lot of funds uselessly, (eg: home insulation, unwanted school outhouses etc.) - probably more than Australia.

Sure Apple has pragmatically tapped the mat on their day in court. That's corporate common sense. Why contribute to uninformed bad publicity? Australia is an important small market for this corporate giant and probably this is simply an oversight, in the international scheme of things.

Wake up bureaucrats and media, Apple is hugely popular with the majority of it's customers for continuously delivering beautifully designed, innovative and well performing product. Like Qantas, what is it with the current psyche of many Australian institutions to pull down performing icons. Don't you like success?
